Get the general details like the approx size of the glass panel that’s broken. Try to notice if it’s single or dual pane. If it’s broken all the way through you should be able to see pretty easily. If it’s shattered but the interior or exterior pane is still intact then obviously you have a dual pane. If it’s being replaced because of foggy glass(moisture between the panes, seal failure) then you know it’s a dual pane because the airspace in between the 2 panes is where the water is building up.
